Spectrum Biotechnologies continues Gulf Coast expansion with purchase of AFCO 360

Spectrum Biotechnologies is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of AFCO 360.

AFCO is a leading provider of service, equipment, and chemicals for wastewater treatment. AFCO was started by Brett Feldes, Adrian Logan, and associates in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Since then, the company has grown rapidly and thrived by extending its service offerings to include waste disposal, construction mat rentals, and activated carbon purification systems.

“We are thrilled to add AFCO to the Spectrum family and are proud to welcome our new team members” said Patrick Hickey, Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum. “The combined companies will add enhanced capabilities to help our collective customers solve their wastewater treatment, waste disposal, and supply chain challenges. In addition, the scale of the new company will create more opportunities for our team members to advance and grow within the business,” said Hickey.

AFCO co-founder Adrian Logan added, “As a former Spectrum employee, it is great to see us combining these two great and experienced teams together. The breadth of the AFCO’s and Spectrum’s combined capabilities will allow us to help solve a broader range of customer challenges.” When asked about the decision to join forces with Spectrum, AFCO co-founder Brett Feldes said, “As we transition from our current structure to the new relationship with Spectrum, I am proud to say we share the same core values of safety, employee engagement, and outstanding customer service. The additional resources provided by Spectrum will give AFCO the power to provide greater value to our customers, while remaining respectful, honest, and caring to our employees.”

The combination of Spectrum and AFCO offers the collective team a new and enhanced value proposition, including exceptionally talented team members, complementary service offerings, and differentiated process solutions. Spectrum and AFCO will deliver more for customers, suppliers, and shareholders alike. Importantly, Spectrum and AFCO will also be able to provide greater opportunities for their employees.
